Yesterday, Bollywood struck back at media houses like Times Now, Republic that defamed them with a lawsuit!
While Kangana Ranaut bashed the lawsuit, Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma seemed to think Bollywood’s move was ‘too late’, and even childish!
Taking to Twitter, Varma shared his reaction on the lawsuit, calling it ‘too late, too thanda’. He even compared it to a school kid complaining to their teacher – “ Teacher, Teacher , wo Arnab mujhe gaali de raha hai”
The lawsuit was filed in Delhi High Court by 4 Bollywood industry associations and 34 leading producers against Republic TV, its editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami and reporter Pradeep Bhandari, Times Now, its editor-in-chief Rahul Shivshankar and group editor Navika Kumar. It sought to refrain them from making or publishing allegedly irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory remarks against Bollywood.
