Kangana Ranaut has now alleged that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) have taken over her production house Manikarnika Films.
She says that the BMC will apparently demolish the structure tomorrow.
Kangana mentions that the BMC members had arrived on Monday for an ‘inspection’. “This is the office of Manikarnika films in Mumbai, which I have worked hard for fifteen years, I had only one dream in my life, whenever I would become a filmmaker, I would have my own office, but it seems that the time has come to break this dream. Suddenly today some people from @mybmc have come,” she tweets.
In another tweet that added on the initial thread, she stated that the BMC had forcefully taken over her office. “They have forcefully taken over my office measuring everything, also harassing my neighbours when they retorted @mybmc officials used language like, ”वो जो मैडम है उसकी करतूत का परिणाम सबको भरना होगा” I am informed tomorrow they are demolishing my property,” she adds.
The Hindi statement apparently made by the BMC officials translates to, “Everyone has to pay the price of what this madam is doing.”
Ranaut also mentions that the BMC has been harassing her neighbors when they had retorted.
“I have all the papers, BMC permissions nothing has been done illegal in my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice, today they raided my place and without any notice tomorrow they demolishing the entire structure,” Kangana mentions her having all her paper work and that no illegal activity has taken place.
Kangana Ranaut had inaugurated her production house named Manikarnika Films this January.
