Rhea Chakraborty is currently under investigation by the ED, CBI and NCB for the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
Post quite a bit of silence, Rhea Chakraborty posted on Instagram a video of her father entering their building premises only to be surrounded by a mob of people. Rhea has asked the Mumbai Police to provide them with protection. She also states that she feels there is a threat to her as well as her family.
“This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit Chakraborty ( retd. army officer ). We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED, CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life,” Rhea captions.
She continues by saying, “We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided. We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived. How is this family going to live?
We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us.
I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies.

As per a report by TOI, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty was last seen at the CBI guesthouse earlier in the day where was called in for a second interrogation. On the other hand, her father, Indrajit Chakraborty, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for another round of questioning regarding the money laundering angle.
Rhea also shared a video of her building’s watchman, stating that he was hurt and hit by media. She tweeted – “Is this not a crime? Is there any law at all? Are we barbarians?”
