2020 keeps getting worse.
Drishyam Director Nishikant Kamat has passed away today at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad. Aged 50, the filmmaker had been diagnosed with Chronic Liver Disease and other secondary infections.
Apart from Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam’, the critically acclaimed director was also known for Irrfan Khan’s ‘Madaari’, John Abraham’s ‘Force’ and ‘Rocky Handsome’. His directorial debut with the Marathi film ‘Dombivali Fast’ in 2005 went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year in Marathi cinema.
Ajay Devgn took to social media to offer his condolences.
Riteish Deshmukh, who starred in Kamat’s film ‘Lai Bhaari’, also took to Twitter to mourn his loss.
