Sanjay Dutt was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer and is off to the US in order to get treated.
While the actor has finished off shooting for Sadak 2 whose trailer was released yesterday, he still has KGF 2, Prithviraj and Shamshera that have a few scenes yet to be filmed.

The executive producer of KGF 2 Karthik Gowda states that the filming of the movie will take place post 3 months, once Dutt returns after his treatment. He says, “Dutt will return after 3 months, once his treatment is over, to complete my film. His team spoke to me today and I spoke to Dutt two days back. About 3 days (of filming is left), and, those are extension scenes.”
Recently, protagonist Rocky bhai aka Yash said, “KGF 2 is going to be massive. If you’ve seen KGF 1, you’ll have an idea of what kind of movie it is—KGF 2 will be five-folds of KGF 1! Sanjay Dutt is a wonderful actor, and when elements like his physical appearance, image, legacy and, on top of it, the kind of role that KGF Chapter 2 has etched for him come together, it only adds value.”

The film also stars Raveena Tandon who spoke about her politician character saying, “I am playing a politician, a strong character. She is the hero as well as the villain of the film, with a very interesting story arc.”
