Yesterday, Akshay Kumar made an announcement of his upcoming film “Raksha Bandhan” with director Aanand L Rai.
Khiladi Kumar who is extremely close to his sister Alka, he dedicated the film to her. The movie is scheduled to go on the floors around April. According to a source, the makers believe in rooting their characters in the heartland of India where the sibling bond is still strong.
Taking to Twitter, Akshay Kumar shared the poster of the film and tweeted about it.

Akshay Kumar also shared how touched he was after listening to the script that he instantly agreed to be a part of it! He also added how this movie was the quickest he has ever signed a film in his entire acting career.
The actor has dedicated the movie to his sister Alka on the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan. The film Raksha Bandhan’s is a story on the pure & beautiful bond of a brother & sister!
The film titled Raksha Bandhan has a sweet tagline ‘Sirf Behne Deti Hai 100 Percent Return’. The flick is to be directed by Aanand L Rai, and written by Himanshu Sharma. It’s all set to release in the theatres on November 5, 2021.
