After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty, her family and Sushant’s ex-manager Shruti Modi, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh made some shocking revelations.
As per a report from Republic World, Vikas Singh alleged that the Sushant’s family had warned Bandra Police way back in February about the danger to Sushant’s life as he was not with good company.
Vikas Singh revealed that the family had requested the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bandra, to keep a watch out for the actor on February 25th.
“Mumbai police’s investigation is going in some other direction. They want to derail the investigation. We had warned the police nearly four months before his death. We told the DCP, Bandra on February 25 that Sushant was under threat and that the kin was afraid for the actor as he was in bad company“
While talking to Arnab Goswami during The Debate, Vikas had again addressed the point – saying that this was during the time when Rhea had changed Sushant’s servants, bodyguard, chartered accountant and taken out the money.
“The family has been saying as early as 25 February 2020, when Sushant was still alive that he was surrounded by people whom they don’t trust and there could be some danger to him. And then when he died, the family says that please look into people who were controlling him. No investigation against Rhea was started, she was given clean chit.”
“The family had contacted the Mumbai Police in February 2020 about Sushant, the Bandra DCP was informed. That was the time when Rhea had changed the servants, bodyguard, the chartered accountant, money was taken out.“
Vikas Singh also alleged that the Mumbai Police was derailing the case. In a statement to ANI, he also explained the reason why the family took so long to file FIR. He said that Mumbai Police wasn’t registering FIR but forcing the family to give names of Big Production Houses and taking the case in a different direction.
He further elaborated that Patna Police was little hesitant but CM Nitish Kumar and Minister Sanjay Jha had explained things to them and the FIR was registered. The lawyer insisted that the case be investigated by Patna Police and stated that the family has not yet demanded CBI Investigation.
Bihar Police have reached Mumbai and are now separately conducting an investigation of their own after the FIR was lodged in Patna. They are currently investigating Sushant’s bank accounts for the transaction details.
