Along with girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her parents, brother Showikk and Sushant’s ex-manager, Shruti Modi have been booked under IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).
On Tuesday, a team of four cops from Patna have been sent to Mumbai to further assist & speed up the investigation since it was reported that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family was not satisfied with Mumbai Police’s course of investigation.
Reportedly, Rhea Chakraborty is also accused for using Sushant’s credit cards on a Europe tour, sacking one of his bodyguards and having stakes in Sushant’s Bollywood company.
The FIR stated that “Sushant had Rs 17 crore in his account but within months Rs 15 crore was transferred to accounts not linked to him. It should be investigated that how much of that money has been defrauded by Rhea and her associates.”
It is also stated that Rhea left Sushant’s house 6 days before the actor died by suicide and took his cash, jewellery, laptop, credit card and Sushant’s medical reports along with him. She allegedly even threatened Sushant to make his medical reports public.
K.K. Singh also added that “Rhea’s family made Sushant leave his old house saying it’s haunted. They took him to a resort and told him his mental state isn’t well and he needed to see doctors.”
