After Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested Covid-19 Positive on Saturday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.
Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to confirm that his wife and daughter had both contracted the virus and would be self quarantining at home. He also informed that Jaya Bachchan and the rest of the family had tested negative.
Initially, Jaya, Aishwarya and Aaradhya’s Coronavirus rapid antigen test reports had come back negative. However, their swab samples were taken for the RT-PCR test. And on Sunday, Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya’s RT-PCR results came positive. However, both of them are asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan who are undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital are stable. Abhishek Bachchan declared that they would remain in the hospital until doctors decide otherwise.
