Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide from hanging on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence. He was said to be suffering from clinical depression and stress.
Earlier, his final post-mortem report ruled out foul play by confirming the cause of death as ‘asphyxia due to hanging’, and also revealed that there were no signs of any struggle and nothing was found from under his nails either.
Even his viscera report came back negative for any suspicious chemicals or toxins. The forensic team had also collected Sushant’s cellphone and laptop for investigation.
According to Zee News, the primary forensic reports of his mobile state that Sushant had Googled his own name at 10:15 am on June 14, 2020, mere minutes before his demise. The Google Search history on his phone reportedly revealed that he wrote ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’ on the website and read up a few articles on himself.
Sushant often used to discuss the articles published about him in magazines and newspapers with his team. In fact, while being interrogated, some of his friends told the police that reportedly the actor was stressed and felt that someone was trying to ‘tarnish’ his image.
So far, the Mumbai Police have recorded statements of 28 people in his case including close family members, friends and others concerned.
