Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan bid adieu to the world today at 1:52 AM succumbing to cardiac arrest. Popularly known as Masterji, Saroj Khan was admitted to the hospital a few days back complaining about breathing issues. She was one of the best choreographers in the Bollywood industry till date and her death has left everyone heartbroken!

- Saroj Khan’s real name was Nirmala Nagpal.
- Her family originally resided in Pakistan. They shifted to India post partition due to which they had to lose all their wealth.
- At the young age of 3, a family doctor couldn’t help but notice her keen interest and talent in dance. She financially supported her family for 9 years.
- She became an assistant dance director at the age of 12 and was teaching dance to actors like Helen and Vyjayanthimala.
- She got married at the age of 13 to dance director B. Sohanlal, who was 43 years old when they got married. However, they parted ways a few years after their wedding. According to sources, she wasn’t aware of her husband’s first marriage until the birth of her first child Raju Khan.
