Amidst the rising tension between India and China, the Government of India has passed a ban on 59 Chinese apps.

Actress Kangana Ranaut is quite enthusiastic in her support of this ban. Earlier, she had been vocal about the boycotting of Chinese goods, after condemning the brutal Chinese attack on the Indian Army in Ladakh in a viral video.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress opened up on why this ban is a good idea, stating that by cutting China’s roots in India, ‘their evil power will come down and the world will be a better place’. She also expressed that India should take charge in this situation, boycott ‘sasta and cheap’ Chinese goods, and endorse local businesses instead.
Addressing the current situation and China’s never-ending greed for Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Assam, she said, “Apart from being the originator of Corona and giving the world the biggest adversity of recent times…they are messing with our borders in Ladakh and they don’t only want Ladakh. In the scheme of things, they want Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim. They also want your Assam and it’s never-ending.”
Alleging that the pandemic is China’s bio-war on the world, Kangana further said by cutting off their revenue from India, we could bring them down. “What is feeding them is their economy. So it is definitely better we cut their roots here in India and of course when there will not be so much revenue and money, their evil power will come down and the world will be a better place.”
Talking about how the world is suffering because China is the leading power, she commented, “If these communist people become leaders, capitalist people will become leaders, this is what the world is going to be. All about bio-wars and crude economic gains.”
The actress stressed that India is the right world leader – being a diverse nation of many languages, religions, and rich spiritual heritage of Hinduism philosophy that preaches of inclusiveness.
She emphasized that we need to go back to the time when India led the world – “In ancient times when India led the world and the world was a prosperous and inclusive place, I do believe that we need to go back to that time.”
The actress concluded by saying India should take charge of the situation. Even though China offers cheap products, we should encourage local businesses.
“So I feel that we should encash in these times where China is receiving so much hatred from the world and we should take the charge and as people, we should also encourage local stuff and try to see value in what our people do. Of course the Chinese give you everything sasta and cheap. We should not go by that. We saw the aftermath of that sasta and cheap. We need to encourage our people and I think this is the right time.”
