Actor Sonu Sood has been in the news constantly for his relentless work in arranging safe transportation for migrant workers back to their respective hometowns. However, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had alleged that there was political motivation behind his good work.
Addressing and dismissing this allegations, while talking to TOI, Sonu Sood had commented, “When someone called to take my opinion on the matter, I was busy arranging travel for labourers and I told the person that right now I am doing something important and I don’t have time to react.”
Continuing further, the actor was unbothered by these allegations and was instead inspired to work harder. “I don’t care about such allegations. The idea is, when you are trying to do something different and good, people will point their fingers at you. As a matter of fact, such allegations strengthen my resolve to do more, and do better. And we actually got inspired to do more. We are, and we will continue doing the good work.”
The general public has been grateful for the actor’s efforts, applauding his single-minded focus in improving the lives of the less fortunate. Sonu Sood has also been lauded by the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari for his tireless work.
