The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput has raised a lot of questions in Bollywood and invited a lot of opinions on mental illness. There are speculations that Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide because he was out of seven films and had nothing else to do. However, we would like to share with you that the director of his upcoming movie, Rumy Jafry revealed that he was not at all short of work.
Rumy Jafry was making a movie with Sushant and his actress girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty. Along side this, Sushant was also in talks with a director from Lahore for another movie. In Spite of offers with good money, Sushant used to reject projects that did not interest him. Rumy Jafry told Deccan Chronicle that “I was disturbed by some news channels insinuating that he had no work and was depressed because of that. He was doing my film. A lot of people, who knew that he was visiting my house often, also wanted to work with him, but he had refused even though he was being paid a lot of money. He had enough money and was not short of it at all. Actors get money today for appearances etc., too apart from doing films”.
Rumy Jafry also mentioned that Sushant did not want to take take ahead acting as a profession and always wished to take up farming and plant thousands of tress and also make a scientific invention.
These thoughts of Sushant make him stand out from the rest.
