The Buckingham Murders trailer out: Kareena Kapoor Khan in an intense role as Jass Bhamra. The suspense thriller has been directed by Hansal Mehta. The cast also includes Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, Zain Hussain.
Kareena Kapoor plays a detective and a grieving, single mother who has recently lost her child in a shooting spree. Fresh wounds are reopened when Jasmeet is assigned the missing case of a 10-year old child.
The Buckingham Murders Release Date:
In cinemas on 13th September 2024.
The film had received rave reviews at its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023. Kareena Kapoor is also donning the producer’s hat for this project. She is co-producing this thriller with Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Telefilms, Mahana Films and TBM Films.
Kareena had commented –“Jas was a character I have been waiting to play for the last 23 years, being a huge fan of the detective series genre… watching everything from Karamchand to Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect to Hercule Poirot in Agatha Christie to Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown, I was just dying to be that detective woman.“

Kareena Kapoor Khan is also starring in Meghna Gulzar’s film, Daayra, with Ayushmann Khurrana. She will appear in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated film, Singham Again, which stars an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh.
