Abhishek Bachchan received a lot of appreciation for his web series ‘Breathe’ and the fans can’t wait to see his upcoming projects.
Now, we hear that the actor has signed to act and produce a Tamil film remake.
As per reports, Abhishek will star in the Hindi remake of Tamil thriller Oththa Seruppu Size 7.
The director of the original movie, Oththa Seruppu Size 7, R Parthiban, will be directing the Hindi remake as well. However, the story will be slightly tweaked for the Pan-India audience.
“The project is Abhishek’s baby. From flying down to Chennai to initiate talks, to setting up the production infrastructure, he has been thoroughly involved. Parthiban, who is helming the remake, will retain the gritty flavor of the original, but will tweak it to appeal to the pan-India audience,” the source told.
It is believed that Abhishek will be pulling off a distinct look. The shooting has already begun in Chennai and mobiles are not allowed on the set for maintaining privacy.
While the remake is in the works, the original synopsis of the movie is based around “An emotionally unstable murder suspect who is questioned by a few police officers.”
