Kishore Kumar is the heart of the Indian entertainment industry and his singing is still enjoyed by the coming generations.
Now, we hear that a biopic on the legendary singer-composer-actor-filmmaker, Kishore Kumar is in the making and we could not be more excited.
Kishore Kumar’s wife, Leena Chandavarkar, and sons, Amit Kumar and Sumit Kumar have decided to produce and direct the biopic on the singer’s life.
Many filmmakers including Shoojit Sircar and Anurag Basu have tried making a biopic on the singer but nothing solid came of it.
As per reports, Amit Kumar says, “It was always my intention that we do the biopic. After all who knows him (Kishore Kumar) better than his family?”
“We’re about to start shooting the interviews with our family about my father,” Amit Kumar continued.
On being asked about the shooting, Amit thinks the shooting will take time. “We know that the script will take at least a year to develop. It’s a lot of hard work, and a long journey ahead,” says Amit.
