The Family Man 2 continues to trend a week after the new season’s premiere.
Recently, reports about the cast’s WHOPPING salaries had gone viral…
It was alleged that Manoj Bajpayee (played Srikant Tiwari) was paid 10 CRORES for 2nd season while Samantha Akkineni (played Raji) had walked home with a paycheque amounting to 3-4 crores.
However, as per the latest report by Rediff, it seems that these numbers were exaggerated quite a bit.
A source told the portal – “There were ridiculous figures being thrown around regarding the major cast’s remuneration. Manoj Bajpayee’s remuneration is said to be Rs 10 crores (Rs 100 million). Are these figures flying around for real? Where did this come from? I want to know who thought up this figure as Manoj’s payment? Why not 15 or 20 crores? Because there is no truth to it.”
The source further revealed the approximate amount of their fees – Manoj received around 2.5 crores while Samantha allegedly was paid Rs 1.5 crores.
Meanwhile, the excitement continues to ride high around the season 3 of the series as fans await an official announcement.
