Shahid Kapoor has also hopped onto the OTT bandwagon and will be making his digital debut on Amazon Prime Video with Raj & DK’s action web series ‘Sunny’.
Previously, reports went rife that Shahid had switched over his ‘Yoddha’ dates to his web series, and later it was even said that he had WALKED OUT of the movie!
Yoddha was also supposed to star Disha Patani as the female lead. The reports had alleged that Shahid had walked out of the Karan Johar’s production over some creative differences. Director Shashank Khaitan has now addressed these rumours.
Shashank has RUBBISHED reports of Shahid storming out of the actioner movie. In fact, he has told Midday that they will revive Yoddha once things become more normal after the pandemic.
“Shahid and I are still working out [the details], and hoping we can collaborate soon. The truth is that the film has to be shot in multiple countries. [Considering] the times we are living in, I don’t even know if we can travel to Borivali for a shoot. So, we weren’t sure if we could pull it off during the pandemic,” Khaitan told the portal.
He added further – “If I have to shoot a film in four countries, it will require a lot of logistical support. Once normalcy is restored around the world, I will revive the Yoddha plan.”
Shashank is currently working on a comedy with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. It’s NO LONGER called ‘Mr Lele’ though.
