According to a reports, Deepika Padukone is “being considered for a 40-minute role opposite Ranbir Kapoor.” The report adds that sources suggest the duo may share “steamy romantic scenes” on screen, which could potentially earn the film an ‘A’ certification from the censor board.
The report states that while Deepika Padukone hasn’t officially signed the film, she is currently considering the offer. The portal mentioned, “Even after delving into bold themes in Gehraiyaan, this role is said to be a bold and challenging choice, and she’s reportedly taking her time to make a decision.” However, it’s important to note that there has been no official confirmation, and all of this remains speculative for now.

Meanwhile, speculation suggests that Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will portray officers in the Indian Armed Forces and are likely to be at odds with each other in the storyline.
The film is scheduled for release in 2026. Reports suggest it could face a major box office clash with Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming project, Toxic. However, an official release date has not been announced yet.
