CBI Closes Sushant Singh Rajput Case, Says It Was Suicide, Clean Chit Given To Rhea Chakraborty!
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially closed the case regarding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, ruling that his death was a suicide and not murder. This comes more than four years after the investigation began.
CBI Closes Sushant Singh Rajput Case, Says It Was Suicide
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai flat on June 14, 2020. His father, K.K. Singh, had filed a case accusing actress Rhea Chakraborty of abetting his suicide and embezzling his finances. In response, Rhea Chakraborty filed a case against Sushant’s sisters for alleged medical malpractice.
After a thorough investigation, the CBI found no evidence of foul play or murder, dismissing the claims made by Sushant’s family. A forensic report of AIIMS has been cited in the investigation which has rejected earlier claims of strangulation or poisoning. The postmortem report conducted at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital has also concluded the reason of death was asphyxia due to hanging.

SSR Case; Clean Chit Given To Rhea Chakraborty
CBI has submitted its final report on Singh’s complaint before a special court in Patna and a separate closure report on Chakraborty’s case was submitted to Mumbai court.
The closure report clears actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family of the accusations made by Rajput’s family, which claimed they drove him to suicide.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, expressed relief at the CBI’s decision, thanking them for thoroughly investigating the case from all angles. The closure of the case has brought an end to the lengthy investigation and legal battles surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death.
