And guess who’s directing his first film? None other than Shashank Khaitan, the filmmaker behind hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Dhadak, and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
A source recently revealed that preparations for Subhan’s debut are already underway. The source said, “Shashank Khaitan will launch Subhan in an intense love story. The prep work has already begun, and the idea is to take the film on floors in the second half of 2025. Shanshank’s script warranted the presence of a fresh face and he has found his lead in Subhan Nadiadwala. The acting workshops and other training sessions are currently underway.”
The source further highlighted that Subhan has always aspired to be an actor and has dedicated himself to learning the intricacies of cinema. “He has undergone extensive training in acting, along with preparations in dance and action. He aims to make a strong debut with an intense love story that also weaves in elements of action,” the source added.
Even before his debut, Subhan was already in discussions with renowned filmmakers for future projects. According to the source, the soon-to-be actor has signed additional films beyond Khaitan’s directorial. “Subhan has a strong screen presence, and the industry is optimistic about his potential, resulting in multiple opportunities coming his way. Sajid Nadiadwala takes immense pride in seeing his son secure these projects on his merit,” the source shared.
Subhan’s much-anticipated debut film, yet to be titled, will be produced by Shashank Khaitan under his banner, Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Meanwhile, his father, Sajid Nadiadwala—one of the most renowned producers in the Indian film industry—is gearing up for his next big release. Titled Sikandar and directed by AR Murugadoss, the film stars Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles and is set to hit theaters on Eid. The recently released teaser offers a glimpse of Salman in an intense, action-packed avatar, taking on a group of adversaries.
