Vicky Kaushal’s 1st Salary Was Rs. 1500, His Net Worth Is Now 41 Crore

From living in a modest chawl in Malad, Malvani, to building a net worth of ₹41 crore by age 36, Vicky Kaushal has a truly remarkable journey.

Despite being the son of action director Sham Kaushal, he had no star-kid advantages. His first paycheck? A mere ₹1,500 as an intern.

Although engineering seemed like the obvious path, Vicky Kaushal’s true passion lay in acting. He faced countless rejections but never lost sight of his dreams. Everything changed with Masaan (2015), a breakthrough that showcased his talent. From there, blockbuster films like Uri and Sardar Udham cemented his place in Bollywood.

Today, he stands as a symbol of hard work and perseverance. From a small chawl to a life of luxury, from earning ₹1,500 to amassing crores, Vicky’s journey is proof that unwavering dedication can turn dreams into reality!

In an appearance on Be A Man, Yaar via DNA India, Vicky Kaushal shared that his first paycheck was just ₹1,500 for working as a production boy. “After completing my engineering and deciding to pursue acting, I worked with Rage Productions, run by Rahul Da Cunha, Rajit Kapur, and Shernaz Patel. At that time, I was handling costumes as a production boy, and that’s when I received my very first earnings—a cheque for ₹1,500,” he recalled.

Reflecting on the pride of earning his first paycheck, Vicky Kaushal recalled, “That moment meant a lot to me. Until then, the only financial work I had done was helping my dad with his bank tasks. So, when I finally held my own cheque, it felt truly special. I still remember that night vividly—it was around 10:30 pm, and I was sitting at Bandra station, just staring at the ₹1,500 cheque with my name, Vicky Kaushal, printed on it.”

As per reports, Vicky Kaushal has charged 10 crores to play Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava and he has currently his networth stands at Rs. 41 Crores.
