Reports suggest that a sequel to the iconic film is in the works, with Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan possibly reuniting to revive the story.
Industry insiders say Main Hoon Na is special to Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan as it was the first film under their banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. Given its importance, they are carefully considering a sequel. Farah Khan has reportedly developed a concept for Main Hoon Na 2, which Shah Rukh Khan has received with enthusiasm. However, both are committed to making sure the sequel isn’t just a nostalgic rehash but a meaningful continuation that connects with today’s audience.

He is set to review the first draft by mid-2025 before making a final decision.
