Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s film Deva opened to mixed reviews upon its release on Friday, recording a lukewarm single-digit opening.
While the trend continued, the film witnessed a slight upward trajectory over the weekend. According to Sacnilk, Deva saw a 16.36% increase in collections on Sunday, earning ₹7.15 crore.

The film had collected ₹5.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹6.4 crore on Saturday.
With a total domestic box office collection of ₹19.05 crore by the end of its opening weekend, Deva has crossed the double-digit mark globally, earning over ₹20 crore worldwide. The Shahid Kapoor starrer also outperformed Fateh and Emergency in their opening weekend collections.

On Sunday, Deva recorded an overall occupancy of 15.38%, with the highest footfalls during evening shows. Among cities, Chennai led with a 41.50% occupancy across 65 shows, while Bengaluru saw a 20.25% occupancy with 343 shows. In Mumbai, the film registered an 18.75% occupancy across 867 shows, whereas Delhi NCR had an 11.50% occupancy with 1,310 shows. Currently, Deva is running in over 5,000 shows across India.
Shahid Kapoor’s action-packed entertainer Deva is the Hindi remake of the 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, who also helmed the original, the film features Shahid as a cop, while Pooja Hegde plays a reporter. The cast also includes Kubbra Sait and Pavail Gulati in key roles. Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios produce Deva.
