Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma returned to Mumbai from his holiday home in Alibaug on Tuesday morning.
This comes just a day after his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, also returned to Mumbai from their luxurious Alibaug retreat. Let’s take a look at the inside pics of their luxurious bungalow.
According to Architectural Digest, the couple’s holiday home was designed by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Philippe Fouché.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s luxurious holiday home is built on an 8-acre plot, which the couple purchased for approximately ₹19 crore in 2022. The 10,000-square-foot villa boasts a temperature-controlled pool, a custom-designed kitchen, four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a sprawling garden, covered parking, staff quarters, and more. The property is adorned with Italian marble, pristine stones, and Turkish limestone. Reports suggest that Kohli invested an additional ₹10.5 crore to ₹13 crore in constructing the villa.
Reports suggest that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma might consider relocating to London once Kohli decides to retire from cricket. Currently, the couple resides in a luxurious 7,171-square-foot home in Mumbai, valued at ₹34 crore. Additionally, Kohli owns a stunning bungalow in Gurugram, worth approximately ₹80 crore.
Returning to Kohli, the star batter had a challenging tour of Australia, accumulating just 190 runs over nine innings. He managed a lone century in the second innings of the Perth Test in November. Throughout the five-match series, Kohli’s difficulties with deliveries outside the off-stump were once again highlighted, particularly by Australian fast bowler Scott Boland, who dismissed him four times out of eight during their encounters.
