Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Bollywood icon Raveena Tandon and renowned film distributor Anil Thadani, owner of AA Films, is poised to make her Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Azaad.

Born on March 16, 2005, the 19-year-old star is creating waves with her charm and talent. She has already set the Internet ablaze with her electrifying performance in the dance number Uyi Amma from Azaad.

Her full name is Rashavishakha Thadani – the meaning is a blend of “first drops of rain” and “Lord Shiva”. She completed her Cambridge IGCSE exams in 2021 at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai, and was in her final year of school while filming Azaad. She is currently in the 1st year of business management course, balancing her film career and academics. Reflecting on her experience, Rasha shared:
“While shooting I was in the middle of class 12th. I completed the shoot even before school and then I went back for my graduation. Even now I am studying business management. I’m still in my first year of business management so I’m still trying to balance acting and studies,” Rasha said.
Beyond acting, Rasha is a multi-talented individual. She holds a black belt in Taekwondo, showcasing her dedication to martial arts. Her passion for music, inherited from her maternal grandfather Ravi Tandon, includes singing and playing musical instruments. The star kid has studied classical music under Ustad Qadir Mustafa Khan and has been playing the piano since the tender age of six. A devoted dog lover, she also cherishes her time with her furry friends.
She currently boasts an impressive Instagram following of 1.8 million.
