According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor is in advanced discussions with filmmaker Atlee for his next production – a masala-packed action entertainer.
The film, an original action drama rather than a remake, will be helmed by one of Atlee’s trusted associates. It will showcase Shahid in a larger-than-life heroic role.
A source revealed, “Shahid has been in talks with Atlee for the past five months and is close to finalizing the deal. Atlee has personally developed the script and believes Shahid is the perfect fit.”
If the deal is finalized, it will mark Shahid’s first collaboration with Atlee, promising a fresh and exciting combination for fans of both.

Shahid Kapoor Upcoming Projects:
Shahid Kapoor’s slate of upcoming projects already looks impressive. Deva, an action-packed thriller, is slated for release at the end of January. Shahid is also teaming up with acclaimed director Vishal Bhardwaj for Arjun Ustara, a gritty gangster drama co-starring Triptii Dimri. The film delves into the intense rivalry between underworld figures Hussain Ustara and Dawood Ibrahim, with Shahid portraying the titular role.
Additionally, Shahid is reportedly part of Cocktail 2, a sequel to the 2012 hit, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. With these exciting projects in the pipeline, Shahid Kapoor continues to solidify his position as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars.
