The romantic comedy marks Kartik’s much-anticipated collaboration with Karan Johar, a partnership that had previously fallen apart during the controversy surrounding Dostana 2. However, the two have now buried the hatchet, paving the way for this exciting venture.
A source revealed that Kartik Aaryan is being paid a staggering ₹50 crore for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, making it one of the highest remunerations ever offered by Dharma Productions. This marks a significant milestone, as it is the highest fee paid to any lead actor by the production house after Ranbir Kapoor.

The source added that such a figure is highly unusual, especially from a premium banner like Dharma, but Kartik’s market value has seen a substantial rise following the massive success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Chandu Champion.
The film, slated for a 2026 theatrical release, is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who helmed Kartik’s 2023 hit Satyaprem Ki Katha. Produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the project is already generating buzz, not just for its star-studded team but also for Kartik’s whopping remuneration.

Kartik Aaryan Upcoming Movies:
Kartik Aaryan is again teaming up with Karan Johar again for an epic war drama based on true events. Directed by Sandeep Modi (The Night Manager, Aarya), the film is cheduled for release on Independence Day, 15th August 2025.
Kartik is reuniting with Triptii Dimri, for a musical romantic drama under the direction of Anurag Basu. He is also returning to the sequel Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. This Mudassar Aziz-directed comedy. begins production begins in December 2024.
