The Pelli Kuthuru is a Telugu pre-wedding ritual in which a paste made of turmeric, sandalwood, and other herbs is applied to the bride. She is adorned with traditional jewelry and garments, and her hands and feet are decorated with intricate Mehndi designs. The bride takes a ceremonial bath after the paste has dried, and she is then dressed in a new saree by her family members. Pellikuthuru is a cherished ceremony that celebrates love, family, and tradition in South India.
