Varun Dhawan is set to reunite with his father, director David Dhawan, for a new romantic comedy, the movie will Pooja Hegde as well.
The film, tentatively titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, will feature Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.
When asked about it, Pooja hinted at more announcements, saying, “I’m exploring new roles. This year, I took a step back to reflect on my filmography and plan my next moves.”
This collaboration marks Varun Dhawan’s fourth film with his father, following Main Tera Hero, Judwaa, and Coolie No. 1. The film is scheduled to begin its second schedule in Goa on November 6th, 2024.
Pooja Hegde, who was previously rumored to be paired with Varun, has now been officially confirmed for the role. She is currently working on several other projects, including Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino and a film with Vijay Deverakonda.
A report by Mid-Day quoted a source revealing, “The second leg will begin in Goa on November 6. By then, Varun would have wrapped his promotion commitments for the Prime Video series.”’
