Do Patti Movie Review:

Do Patti Movie Review; Kriti Sanon is brilliant

Kriti Sanon is absolutely brilliant in Do Patti and this is one of the best performances of her career. She is able to flawlessly switch between the frail, anxious Saumya and the confidently seductive Shailee. Kriti boasts of remarkable range, playing each twin with clear enough distinction and with the utmost conviction.

After the mess of Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, writer Kanika Dhillon is back in her element and she delivers with Do Patti. She creates a fascinating and creepy twin dynamic and maintains the tension throughout the film. Do Patti does a good job of keeping you engrossed till the third act – and then it goes off the rails just as the courtroom drama starts.

The main twist in the end is just not convincing enough and actually seems incoherent in context with the case. The climax is a bit of letdown. While Kanika is excellent at keeping the intrigue alive throughout most of the film, the integration of its social messaging is a little clumsy.

Do Patti Movie Review:

Nevertheless, stellar performances by the entire cast! Kajol takes a backseat here, it is Kriti Sanon who leads the charge with absolute swag. While Kajol is mostly effective in her part, her Haryanvi accent is off at times, making it a little cringe.

The dashing Shaheer Sheikh is fabulous here – charming in the 1st half, yet balancing the grey shades and aggression of his character quite well. The chemistry between him and Kriti Sanon, as both Saumya and Shailee, is solid and convincing.

Overall, Do Patti makes for an interesting watch, and Kriti Sanon steals the show hands down!
