Like Gehraiyaan and Call Me Bae, CTRL plays to Ananya Panday’s strengths. The young actress is evolving with every role and infuses her quirky urban character with an even dose of vulnerability. She has the messy, anxious Gen Z role down pat!

This Vikramaditya Motwane film is definitely more Black Mirror than The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind for sure. It makes for some intriguing, thought-provoking, cautionary commentary on our crippling over-reliance on AI.

Ananya acts the sassy, airhead influencer perfectly in the 1st half but she is equally convincing in scenes that require more emotional depth. She has the acting chops and gives a compelling enough performance.

Vihaan Samat has limited screentime but is very effective in his portrayal and does not miss a beat. Fresh off their Call Me Bae success, the reunion of this adorable pairing works!

CTRL has an interesting premise and it is built upon decently well, but the ending of the film could be a letdown for some. Nevertheless, CTRL is worth-watching!
