Sonakshi tied the knot with her longterm boyfriend Zaheer on 23rd June. The couple married in a civil ceremony, under the Special Marriage Act. They later hosted a reception at Bastian.

While Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, her brothers Luv and Kush were notably absent. It is being reported that there’s a conflict between the siblings owing to Sonakshi’s decision to marry Zaheer Iqbal.

A source said – “Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, and were naturally elated about the day. However, her brothers didn’t come to the wedding as well as the reception. The photographers didn’t spot the two entering the venue, till the very end. And everyone found it to be really weird”.
As per HT, Luv Sinha commented – “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking.”
When reports about Sonakshi-Zaheer’s wedding had hit the headlines, Luv had said that he was out of Mumbai and had ‘no comment or involvement’ regarding the wedding.

Saqib Saleem Takes On Brotherly Duties At The Wedding
Sonakshi’s close friend, Huma Qureshi’s brother – actor Saqib Saleem took on the brotherly duties at her wedding. Saqib was seen holding up the canopy of flowers as Sonakshi walked down the aisle.
Sonakshi Sinha Is Not Converting To Islam After Marriage
Zaheer’s father businessman-jeweller Iqbal Ratnasi confirmed that Sonakshi will NOT be converting to Islam after the wedding. The couple has tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act.
