1) Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expecting their first child in September 2024. As per reports, Ranveer will be taking an extended paternity leave.
A source revealed – “After his one-year dates for Baiju Bawra were vacated, Ranveer had no other assignments ready to go on the floor. He has now decided not to take any interim assignments before Don 3, Shaktimaan, and Aditya Dhar’s action films start next year. He will be spending time with Deepika and the baby.”
2) Ranbir Kapoor
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child – Raha Kapoor on November 6, 2022. Ranbir said that after Animal, he would take a 6-month from acting to spend time with his daughter. He didn’t get to spend much time with Raha in the initial months after her birth due to his busy schedule.
3) Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan has always taken paternity leaves every time his child is born. The actor is a father to 4 kids – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan with Amrita Singh and Taimur and Jeh with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
He did acknowledge that one has to be in a privileged position to be able to take a leave on their child’s birth!

Bollywood Celebs Who Took Paternity Leaves
4) Shahid Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have 2 children – Misha and Zain. Shahid revealed that he was able to take several months off work to be able to be there for his daughter Misha. However, he could only get a week of paternity leave during the birth of his son Zain.

5) Karan Johar
Karan Johar welcomed twins Yash and Roohi, via surrogacy in 2017. The filmmaker took a two-month long paternity break to be there for his children.
6) Imran Khan
Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik were blessed with their baby girl Imara in June 2014. The couple is now estranged.
Khan took almost a seven-month leave when Avantika was expecting!
