Koffee With Karan S8 Finale Episode; 5 Highlights From The Show –
The 8th season of Karan Johar’s infamous chat show Koffee With Karan comes to an end. The ‘liver’ Orry appeared as a special guest along with Kusha Kapila, Danish Saith, Sumukhi Suresh and Tanmay Bhat graced the coffee couch in the finale episode.
Famous content creators Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait, Sumukhi Suresh and Tanmay Bhat were the guests and jury on the 13th episode of Koffee With Karan S8. Internet sensation Awatramani aka Orry, who is friends with every B-Town celeb and gets papped at every party, appeared on the show for a special chit-chat segment and spilled some beans.
From Orry’s spicy revelations to the coffee awards and the ‘jury’ – roasting the host… The finale episode was zesty, entertaining, candid and fun.

1) Orry Reveals His First Job
The question that has been in all of ours minds for quite a while now is, “What does Orry do?” The nation wants to know… In the finale episode, host-filmmaker Kara Johar asked him about his profession to get yet another quirky answer from him. He answers that does “his best”! However, he did reveal his first job.
Orry revealed that his first job was as a chauffeur in the US. And interestingly, he had to be the chauffeur for Kajol, who had denied him a selfie at the time. After which, Karan pointed out that he is now one of the closest friends of her daughter, Nysa Devgn.
2) Orry Opens Up On Boney Kapoor’s Contribution To His Stardom
Orry manages to be on our Instagram page almost everyday. He is now a popular name but do you know where it all began? Well, Orry blames it on Janhvi Kapoor-Khushi Kapoor’s father, Boney Kapoor.
“Blame Boney Kapoor. The first time I got the limelight was Boney Kapoor’s fault.”
– he stated
“I was attending his daughter’s birthday and when I entered the gate, all the media was like ‘Orry Orry’ and Boney uncle being the gentleman he is came down to receive me. I was like ‘Boney uncle, they were screaming my name.’ He was like ‘Did you pose?’ and I was like ‘No.’ He then grabbed me by the wrist and flung me by the media and said, ‘Ye Orry hai. Iska photo lelo. Ye mera bachcha hai.’ (He is Orry. Take his photo. He is my child.) And the media circled me and that’s when I realized this is it. The match was always there and so was the gunpowder and Boney just lit it,”

3) Orry On His Digital Demise, Doppelgängers, Relationship Status & More:
During the finale episode, Orry spilled some secrets which caught everyone by surprise. Talking about his sudden fame, the internet sensation revealed that he is now planning downfall. He explained –
“When you see me on paparazzi pages and on screen, that’s the story I’m telling. I spend the whole day reading. I am in the comments section reading every review of my images. And everyone’s like, ‘Oh his 15 minutes will end, he’s going to vanish, just wait. The fame’s getting to his head.’ Yes, the fame is getting to my head, yes, I have an attitude problem now.”
“So, right now in my relevance room, we’re planning my downfall.” Shedding light on the ‘relevance room’, he clarified that in his office, there’s a room called the relevance room where all his ‘minions’ have to dress up like him, think as he does, and also talk like him.
“In the room, all my minions come up with ideas and we have mood boards, blackboards, and chalkboards and they pitch ideas on how to keep me relevant and that’s how I stay in the news. This is a hustle, a struggle. It’s like the Hunger Games. It’s a full-time job.”
“The Orrians like to see me fall,” he stated. When KJo asked him when this downhill was going to start, he said “Very soon. We’re waiting for the right ideas and then the 15 minutes will be up. Then we plan a comeback. My fall is coming. Before anyone can plan it (digital demise) I plan it.”
During the conversation, when Karan asked Orry if he was single, he replied that he was dating five people at the same time. He went on to add,
“I am cheating, I am a cheater, Orry is a cheater.”
4) The Koffee Awards
The gorgeous couple, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh featured on the opening episode of this season. Post that, celebs like Alia Bhatt-Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol, Varun Dhawan-Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani-Vicky Kaushal, Kajol-Rani Mukerji, Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan-Sharmila Tagore, Janhvi kapoor-Khushi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan-Ananya Panday and Neetu Kapoor-Zeenat Aman graced the show this season.
Kusha, Danish, Sumukhi and Tanmay appeared on the couch and they voted unanimously from which the season got winners in various categories – Best Moment, Best Rapid-Fire, Best Episode, Best Performance Male, Best Performance Female, and a special one titled Best Koffee Burns.
5) Karan Johar Reacts To Zoya Akhtar Taking Away His Crown And Launching Starkids:
Over the past few years, Karan got tagged for launching only starkids. Recently, Zoya Akhtar launched Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor with The Archies. When KJo was asked how he felt to see someone else launching three starkids, he quipped –
“I felt like my crown was taken away.” He added that his best till now had been launching two star kids max in a film, but Zoya even crossed that.
