1) Aditya Roy Kapur Reveals Ananya Panday Is A “Pure Joy”
During the episode, when Karan Johar asked Aditya about his “alleged” relationship with Ananya Panday, he cheekily replied, “Ask me no secrets, and I’ll tell you no lies. I am Aditya ‘Joy’ Kapur as of now. I am quite joyous.”
Referring to Ananya’s “I am Ananya Coy Kapur” comment from earlier this season, KJo further quipped, “You are quite joyous. So the first word that comes to your mind when I say Ananya is joy?” To which, he replied, “Yes, pure joy! Bliss!”

2) Arjun Kapoor On Wedding Bells With Malaika Arora
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been dating for quite a while now. Every now and then, their wedding rumours hit headlines. When Karan asked him about his wedding plans, the actor said –
“I think at this point, this is the part of my life that, right now, I want to take as it comes. I think it would be unfair to be sitting here without her and talking about the future. I think that would be the most respectful thing. Once we reach that stage, we’ll come and talk about it together or be able to speak about it together.”
“I’m very happy where I am, and I think we make no bones about the fact that we survived through whatever we’ve had to be in this comfortable, happy space. But I don’t want to speak about anything specifically right now because I feel that’s unfair to the relationship to talk alone about it.”

3) Ranbir Kapoor Is “Weird”?
During the conversation, Karan revealed that Aditya Roy Kapur is often the “punching bag” whenever he meets the other two boy, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Aditya often gets trolled in his friend circle due to his lack of Bollywood knowledge despite being a Hindi film actor.
Both KJo and Arjun made fun of Aditya when he couldn’t get the references of Chunky Panday’s “Akhri Pasta”, his iconic dialogue – “I am joking” and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol’s names in DDLJ.
Arjun revealed that Ranbir “doesn’t appreciate anybody appreciating his films too much.” Karan went on to label the Animal actor as “weird”.

4) Arjun Kapoor On Box Office Failures
Both Aditya and Arjun have had their own shares of hits and flops at the box office. Talking about it, Arjun stated –
“I’ve been part of films that didn’t pan out, but I didn’t do them with the intent of making bad films. They just turned out to not be the best. You can’t control the box office, unfortunately. I’m patient; my time will come. All the wrongs can get right with one Friday, but I’ve got to just keep at it and not get discouraged.”
“There is so much adversity I have faced in my entire life. I think I have spoken on this couch before about many aspects of my life. I think I look at the positive. I’ve had the opportunity where I’ve done well when I started. I’m the first actor in my generation to deliver a 100-crore film with Dharma and Sajid Nadiadwala, which was 2 States. I have done a film like Ki & Ka that did well where I played a house husband,” he concluded.
Aditya further added –
“Yes, those thoughts do creep in, and sometimes they creep in on the weekend of a film not doing well. On a Sunday or a Monday, suddenly all the energy is sucked out of everything, and you’re just left with yourself, and your thoughts can creep in. But it’s very important to just shun them away. Early on, I came in and I got to the sensation that my first three films didn’t do well, and then a couple did, so I was sensitised to that very early on. Nothing is permanent – your successes and your failures.”
5) Karan Johar On The Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Episode
Karan Johar has finally broken his silence on the reaction to the Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh’s episode form this season. The filmmaker revealed that the reaction to the first episode ft DeepVeer “angered” him. He said –
“There was a ridiculous kind of after-effect. I just want to put it out there that episode angered me. I thought it was one of our best episodes. They were outstandingly honest, they were earnest. They spoke and shared so much, and they were so gracious. And then you’re f***ing talking about something nonsense. I mean, what do you know about somebody’s personal life and marriage? Tu apne ghar pe dekh na. I want to show them all my f***ing middle finger.”
