Renowned Bollywood critic, Taran Adarsh took to Instagram to reveal the box office collection of week 2. He captioned the post, “#Tiger3 [Week 2] Fri 13 cr, Sat 18.25 cr, Sun 10.25 cr, Mon 7.25 cr. The box office collection of Tiger 3 so far is Rs 231.75 crores. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s latest spy action-thriller is one of the best-performing movies of 2023.
As per reports, the film reached the double-digit figure on Sunday, despite the World Cup final between India and Australia on the same day.
A statement shared by the makers on Monday read, “Tiger 3 had to face weeks filled with multiple festivals, fractured holidays, and World Cup tournaments but still went on to prove its mettle at the box office. As the World Cup final match has ended, the film is witnessing a jump in its box office collections and has now reached Rs 376 crore gross worldwide.”
Tiger 3 also stars Emraan Hashmi. Emraan Hashmi plays the negative role of Aatish Rehman, an ex-ISI agent.
“You have to tap into the darker side, but eventually the dynamics are the same. You have to be clear about the vision of the director. You bring in your ideas for the character’s journey, the nuances, and body language, and finally play him like the hero of his narrative. Don’t play it like a villain because that’s the worst way to approach the antagonist as then it becomes unidimensional,” told PTI in an interview.
