Farrey Movie Review

Niyati soon befriends the rich kids (played by Prasanna Bisht, Zeyn Shaw) while her fellow scholarship student Akash (Sahil) prefers to keep a wary distance. The prodigy soon gets entangled in a cheating racket, in exchange for money for the orphanage.

Farrey – Sahil Mehta

Her underprivileged classmate Akash too eventually succumbs to the lure of money. Things spiral out of control as their fraud escalates to an international level!

Watch Farrey to see how this cheating scandal unravels!

Farrey Movie Review:

Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri makes a promising debut with Farrey. The star kid is quite a natural performer, with a confident and charismatic screen presence.

Her dialogue delivery doesn’t feel stilted – in fact, she’s surprisingly convincing in her very first role.

Farrey Movie Review:

Farrey has a solid premise, and barring a few filler and generic tracks, it manages to keep you invested in the 1st half. The pacing is even until the 2nd half and that’s where the film starts to falter a little bit.

A few sequences seem utterly far-fetched and ludicrous and the ending feels rushed, abrupt and unresolved. The problem lies in the writing of the 2nd half – it simply appears too exaggerated and improbable.

Farrey Movie Review:

Nevertheless, the thing that Farrey has got going for it – is a stellar, age-appropriate cast of promising young actors. Alizeh has delivered a strong, competent performance. Zeyn Shaw is another bright kid to watch out for – though this part of a snooty rich kid was more or less similar to what he pulled off in the Class series.

Prasanna Bisht is a refreshing young talent in the cast as well – making you empathise with the rich yet insecure Chhavi. Sahil Mehta gets a meaty, layered character to portray and does full justice to the role with his gritty performance.

Overall, while Farrey may have stumbled in the 2nd half, this promising young cast does deserve the accolades for their refreshing performances!

Hit Or Miss:

While the nepotism tag might accompany Alizeh’s debut, it is fair to say that this star kid does have the acting chops. Worth watching once for the promising fresh faces!
