Tiger 3 movie review

Tiger 3 sees Salman Khan return as the raw agent Tiger. While he, Zoya and their son are leading a happy life, Tiger’s world comes tumbling down when Zoya (Katrina) does something horrifying, proving his suspicions right.

But Zoya’s actions are being manipulated by someone else – her old mentor Aatish (Emraan Hashmi). Having lost his reputation and family, Aatish is vengeful but calculative. He is attempting to regain his honor by staging a coup against the pacifist Pakistani prime minister, Nasreen, in midst of peace talks with India.

In the process, he’s the mastermind behind framing Zoya and Tiger as traitors to their respective countries. Will the duo clear their name and stop India’s name from getting besmirched? Watch Tiger 3 to find out –

Tiger 3 Movie Review:

Tiger 3 is pretty entertaining as an action spectacle but the emotional impact is quite hollow. It is unapologetically style over substance.

Katrina Kaif Towel fight scene in Tiger 3

The action sequences are indulgent and hella over-the-top, but infused with total badassery. There are quite a few good, hand-to-hand combat scenes – particularly the towel fight scene between Katrina Kaif and Michelle Lee.

Tiger 3 Movie Review:

Is the towel scene titillating? Yes, but the sparring between the two ladies is well-shot with a stylish flair. One of the highlights of the movie, for sure. Katrina Kaif has done full justice as an action heroine.

Shah Rukh Khan cameos in Tiger 3

Another is the much-awaited cameo of Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan at a pivotal moment. The fans will indeed lap up the camaraderie, fun banter and kickass action of the SRK-Salman Khan sequence.

Tiger 3 Movie Review:

That being said, while Tiger 3 holds up strong on the action front, it fails to deliver in the emotional scenes. Both Salman-Kat don’t feel convincing enough in the sad scenes.

Tiger 3 villain – Aatish

And coming to the villain – Emraan Hashmi’s Aatish makes for a disappointing antagonist. While Emraan has brought his A-game to the role, his character arc feels half-baked, his motivations superficial.

Tiger 3 Movie Review:

Emraan could’ve absolutely made a terrific, menacing villain – and he certainly carries the aura, but the fault lies in the way his role was written. His potential is wasted in Tiger 3. Unlike John Abraham’s villain Jim in Pathaan, one can’t empathize at all with the antagonist this time.

Hrithik Roshan cameos in Tiger 3

If you’re waiting for Hrithik Roshan to kick ass with his cameo, you’ll have to wait till the post-credits scene for his shot! Overall, Tiger 3 is a fun, engaging, fast-paced action thriller – there’s never a dull moment.

Hit Or Miss:

Worth watching once onscreen for the sheer action spectacle.
