UT69 Trailer was released today; it is the biopic of Raj Kundra! With story by Raj Kundra, the film has been directed by Shahnawaz Ali. Produced by SVS Studios and co-produced by The Bigger Picture Films.

UT69 Trailer takes a satirical look into the real-life incidents of businessman Raj’s days spent in Arthur Road jail. He recalls this period as his most difficult time. The film depicts this chapter of his life and is based on a true story.

Kundra marks his acting debut with UT69. This dark comedy captures the challenges and trials faced by the businessman during his imprisonment. And also some moments of unexpected friendships.
For the unversed, in July 2021, Shilpa Shetty’s husband got embroiled in a porn scandal. He was even jailed for the alleged creation and distribution of pornographic content. After 2 months, he was granted bail in September 2021. UT69 will follow his 63-day imprisonment in Arthur Road Jail.

Raj Kundra Comments About UT69
Talking about his biopic, Kundra commented – “This is more than just a movie for me! While it’s a closure of sorts, you will see through my eyes a story about survival, friendships, and relationships inside India’s most notoriously crowded infamous detention centre, also known as Arthur Road Jail.”
UT69 director Shahnawaz Ali said, “UT69 is a slice of life film about a celebrity among misfits. It’s a light hearted film about trying to find the best in the worst of situations, and living beyond sorrows. For me, telling the story through humour was more impactful than any other way. Raj’s story was unique, and it needed unique storytelling. But at its heart, it’s a human story that will connect with all audiences.”
