Has Agastya Nanda refused to play Laxman in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ramayana movie?
The 22-year-old star kid is all set to to make his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
Nitesh Tiwari is reportedly making Ramayana with RK in Lord Ram’s role. Recently, it was reported that Sunny Deol was in talks to play Hanuman in the film.
Amid such reports, the latest media report suggests that Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, has apparently turned down the offer to play the role of Laxman in this Ranbir Kapoor starrer.
A Reddit report claimed that The Archies star didn’t want to play a ‘second fiddle’ to another actor at this stage of his career.
“Agastya’s hands are full. He has just completed The Archies with Zoya Akhtar and will be deep-diving into Ekkis with Sriram Raghavan. At this stage of his career, he can hardly afford to play second fiddle to another actor.”

On the work front, Agastya has replaced Varun Dhawan in Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis movie, biopic on Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal.
