Fukrey 3 Movie Review

Fukrey 3 makes for an entertaining sequel no doubt – wholeheartedly embracing the OTT cringeness and slapstick comedy shtick.

The comedy is bit of hit and miss this time – some jokes land, some fall dramatically and some manage to be funny just because of the sincerity of the actor’s delivery. Varun as Choochaa is the centre of attention – adorable, goofy, and dumb. Varun and Pankaj Tripathi stand out with their impeccable comic timing. Tripathi gets the best lines from the lot.

Pulkit Samrat Fukrey 3

The movie starts off well but meanders in the middle and has a WTF climax that is only partially satisfactory. Some plot points overstay their welcome and the toilet humour starts getting painfully unfunny after a point.

Fukrey 3 Movie Review:

Richa Chaddha as Bholi Punjaban is in top form but her role could have been more fleshed out. Manjot Singh’s comic sense and deadpan delivery is perfect but unfortunately, he gets the short end of the stick and is sidelined in this sequel.

Manjot Singh in Fukrey 3

Pulkit Samrat registers as the handsome hunk who is also the brains of the operation, but apart from flexing his abs hasn’t really much to do. Varun Sharma’s performance overshadows him by a long shot.

Hit Or Miss:

Definitely worth watching once on the big screen for some light-hearted fun!
