As per reports, on the day of its release, Abhishek Bachchan’s Ghoomer movie earned only Rs. 0.85 crore, which is considered to be a very slow start. On its second day, the movie made Rs. 1.1 crore. On the third day, the movie made Rs 1.52 crore, and 0.72 crore on day 4. The total box office collection of Ghoomer after its fourth day is Rs 4.19 crore.

Ghoomer released on 18th August and is facing tough competition from Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. Both these movies have taken over the entire box office with their storyline and is continuously attracting audience even after a week of release.

For the unversed, the story of Ghoomer revolves around the story of a cricketer named Anini who wants to play in the Indian team. She also gets selected but she meets with an accident and one of her hands gets amputated. During this, Padam Singh Sodhi enters his life. This character of Padam Singh Sodhi is played by Abhishek Bachchan in the film.

Ghoomer 2 is failing to attract a lot of audience at the box office because of the hype of Gadar 2 and OMG 2. Now, soon Ghoomer will also have to face competition from Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday’s upcoming release Dream Girl 2.

Before Ghoomer, Abhishek Bachchan was seen in Tenth, which also starred Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur. It was an OTT release. And now, he will soon be seen in a new season of called ‘Brid: Into the Shadows’.
