Kiara Advani recently revealed that she had unknowingly auditioned for the role of Rupa in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha movie.

As per reports, Kiara Advani opened up about the incident saying that her audition was terrible. She said, “I auditioned for Laal Singh Chaddha. At the time I didn’t know it was for Laal Singh Chaddha. I really don’t want to see that audition though. I think I was terrible. It was many many years ago. I realised much later it was for Laal Singh Chaddha.”
As Kiara tried to confirm with her team that she auditioned for it, they hid their face in embarrassment and the actor said, “They don’t want to say anything, I don’t know why.”
The role of Rupa was eventually played by Kareena Kapoor Khan and even she had to audition for that role. Kareena told PTI in an earlier interview, “Laal Singh Chaddha is possibly the only film in my career I’ve auditioned for. I would never do it for any kind of cinema or anybody in this world other than Aamir.”
Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump.
