Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has an exciting film franchise in the works.
The producer revealed that they’re working on a desi interpretation of the ‘Arabian Nights’!
Maddock Films will be bankrolling films on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Aladdin and Sinbad stories. Whoa, isn’t that a thrilling update?
“The new purchasing power, the new India needs stories, which are within India. The next phase of what we want to try and do is, we want to up the ante, we still want to make stories which are powerful, but if you have to go in theaters, we need to make them larger,” Vijan told to Variety.
Apart from this, Maddock Films recently announced a line-up of 15 films – Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Rom-Com, Bhediya 2, Stree 2, Murder Mubarak, Vampires Of Vijay Nagar, Munjya, Shiddat 2, Rumi Ki Sharafat and more.
