The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri postponed the release date of his upcoming directorial, The Vaccine War.
Based on a true story, the film was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on Independence Day 2023.
After the huge success of The Kashmir Files, Vivek Agnihotri announced The Vaccine War last year. The film stars Anupam Kher and Nana Patekar among others.
Sharing the poster, he had captioned it, “Announcement: Presenting ‘The Vaccine War’ – an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage, and great Indian values.”
The Vaccine War aims to explore a thought-provoking narrative surrounding the global vaccine industry and its impact on society.
According to a report, Vivek Agnihotri and his wife Pallavi Joshi have planned to organise pre-release screenigs in USA before its official release in India. Due to this, the release date has been pushed.

The film will release in 11 languages – Hindi, Bengali, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Gujaratai and Bhojpuri.
