Salman Khan often makes it to the headlines for reasons beyond his films. His statements has ended up raising many eyebrows way too many times.
5 Controversial Statements Made By Salman Khan:
1) Women Clothing:
During the promotions of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Palak Tiwari revealed that Salman Khan has a ‘no low neckline’ rule on his movie sets. All girls on his set should be covered, she had stated.
Recently, the superstar appeared on Rajat Sharma’s show, Aap Ki Adalat, where the actor was challenged by the host on his ‘double standards’.
The host asked him, if it’s okay to police on women’s clothing, while he himself often takes his shirt off in every film. Defending his neckline statement, Salman reportedly said –
“Jab aap ek decent picture banate ho toh sab jaake dekhte hai pure parivaar ke saath. Koi double standard nahi hai. I think aurato ki jo bodies hai hai woh kahi zada precious hai. Toh woh jitni dhaki huyi hongi mujhe lagta hai ki better hai (When you make a decent picture everyone goes to watch it with their family. There is no double standard. I think women’s bodies are more precious. So the more covered they are the better it will be I feel).”
– Salman replied.
