Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 movie release date is finally out!
The sequel was announced yesterday (April 12) at the Jio Studios’ Infinite Together Event in Mumbai.
Rajkummar, Shraddha, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Bannerjee will reprise their roles as Vicky, Stree, Bittu Rudra and Jana respectively. Last night, the cast took the stage and enacted a skit to announce Stree 2 release date.
Directed by Amar Kaushik (who will helm the sequel as well), Stree was one of the blockbuster films of 2018.
Varun Dhawan also took the stage to announce that he will be returning in his wolf avatar for Bheidya 2. The actor didn’t share any details, but revealed that the sequel is slated to hit theatres in 2025.
As per reports, the story of both Stree 2 & Bhediya 2 will be interlinked.
Producer Dinesh Vijan also revealed that Maddock Films is working on a vampire-themed film as a part of the horror-comedy universe. However, he didn’t indulge in revealing any cast and release date details.
Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe includes – Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, Stree 2 and Bhediya 2.
