Rekha To Do A Song In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi Series?

It was earlier rumored that Rekha will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi but later the rumors were shot down.

However, now it is learned that even though Rekha was not keen on featuring in the series, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trying his best to have her in the series.

As per reports, while talking about the same, a source says, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Rekha to play a prominent role in Heeramandi. However, the actress was reluctant to feature in the series and talks between the two soon fell apart. However, SLB has not given up the idea of having Rekha feature in Heeramandi. As it stands right now, Bhansali is still in talks with Rekha but this time for a much smaller part.”

“Currently, Bhansali is in talk with Rekha to feature in a special song sequence at least. He is adamant on having Rekha feature in Heeramandi even if it for a small part,” the source added.

Heeramandi will feature a mix of love, betrayal, succession, and politics in the kothas and will be yet another SLB classic.

The series will star Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in pivotal roles.
